My name is Kathy and I have worked in the dental field since 1993. I worked as a Certified Dental Assistant for four years and then dedicated my time to my family as a stay-at-home mom. I returned to dentistry in 2013 and obtained my Expanded Functions Dental Assisting license from the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center. I am passionate about making a difference in our patients’ lives, one smile at a time. My husband and I have three children and we enjoy spending as much time as we can with them. You will often find us pacing the sidelines, cheering for our kids at their soccer and field hockey games.
Allen is a certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and also serves as our Clinical Coordinator. He grew up in East Earl and is a graduate of Garden Spot High School. After high school, Allen pursued his dental career at York Technical Institute. He says he chose the dental field because he felt it is both challenging & rewarding. “When you help a patient who has been in pain and he or she leaves the office with a smile, it’s well worth all the work and effort.” Allen enjoys meeting new people, working to achieve practice goals and meeting patients’ treatment expectations. When not in the office, he enjoys traveling, skiing, and jet skiing with his wife. He’s a connoisseur of Mediterranean Cuisine and homemade lasagna. His hobbies include reading business books and he’s also an avid car enthusiast.
Emily - Patient Advocate
I've been with Ephrata Family Dentistry since 2011 and have enjoyed getting to know our patients and their families. I currently reside in Wernersville with my husband and two children, who keep me laughing on a daily basis. My husband and I love the outdoors and take advantage of every opportunity to pack up our car and go camping or head to the beach. Our family has a small place in Dagsboro, DE where we spend as much time as we possibly can.
